BridgeWave Communications Achieves Newest ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Santa Clara, CA – May 06, 2009 – BridgeWave Communications, the leading supplier of gigabit wireless solutions, today announced that it has attained ISO 9001:2008 by BSI Management Systems (a division of BSI Group), a provider of assessment, certification and training services in all critical areas of management disciplines. This is an extension of the company's original ISO 9001:2000 certification.

The ISO 9001:2008 designation was obtained after an extensive audit of BridgeWave's operations, management, and quality systems. ISO 9001:2008 is an international quality management standard developed for companies to demonstrate its ability to provide product that meets statutory and regulatory requirements, and demonstrates the organization's ability to implement the planned management system. By completing the re-certification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard, BridgeWave demonstrates highly effective business processes, commitment to continuous quality improvement, and an intense focus on customer satisfaction.

The company achieved its original ISO 9001:2000 certification in July 2001, and has since maintained its certification by participating in bi-annual audits, complying with the strict requirements of quality standards. In December 2008, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) amended its requirements with the release of ISO9001:2008.
