BridgeWave Appoints Paul Obsitnik as Senior Vice President of
Business Development
Santa Clara, CA – August 27, 2008 – BridgeWave Communications, the leading supplier of gigabit
wireless solutions, today announced the appointment of Paul Obsitnik as senior vice president of business development.
Mr. Obsitnik will be responsible for driving business initiatives to support the company's goal of addressing
backhaul data transport challenges that face 4G WiMAX and advanced mobile deployments, such as 3G & Long Term
Evolution (LTE) networks.
Mr. Obsitnik brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in developing and growing new markets in the
wireless and telecommunications industry. Most recently, Mr. Obsitnik served as vice president, marketing &
business development at Venturi Wireless. While at Venturi, Mr. Obsitnik was responsible for strategic partnerships
and marketing of the company's core wireless optimization technology. Prior to Venturi, Mr. Obsitnik served
in senior marketing and business development positions at TeleCommunication Systems, ONI Systems and NorthPoint
Communications. Mr. Obsitnik holds a BSEE degree from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA degree from the
Harvard Graduate School of Business.
