BridgeWave’s Gigabit Wireless Links Earn JF-12 Certification to Facilitate Large-Scale Federal Government Deployments

Santa Clara, CA – April 14, 2008 – BridgeWave Communications, the leading supplier of gigabit wireless solutions, has announced that its 80 GHz Gigabit Ethernet wireless radios have earned JF-12 certification from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). As a result, all branches of the U.S. federal government now can select BridgeWave’s 80 GHz products, for secure, high-speed wireless connectivity in large-scale network deployments.
An active JF-12 number is required for all wireless devices that are intended to utilize government spectrum. With this highly valued certification, BridgeWave offers government contractors and systems integrators the opportunity to provide DoD entities with a JF-12 compliant wireless network solution that operates at full gigabit data rates to meet a variety of bandwidth-intensive communications requirements.
