Hutton Communications and BridgeWave Communications Announces Distribution Alliance
Hutton will stock, market and sell the BridgeWave Gigabit Wireless products
Santa Clara, CA - December 27, 2004 -BridgeWave Communications, the technology leader in upper millimeter-wave wireless communications, and Hutton Communication, a leading provider of solutions for wireless communications, announced that Hutton Communications will stock, market, provide engineering assistance and sell BridgeWave gigabit wireless products.
BridgeWave manufactures its GE60 product in its United States facility, a 60 GHz license-exempt wireless link that interconnects nearby buildings at full-rate gigabit Ethernet speeds. The GE60 is the first production product of several high capacity, cost-effective products that BridgeWave is developing. BridgeWave wanted to align with Hutton to distribute its 60 GHz technology since Hutton has extensive technical and field sales support in the market place. This created a strong synergy for growing the market and positioning the BridgeWave product to new VARs and emerging markets. Hutton has the ability to provide extensive kits of different products from various vendors to provide a total solution and deliver it in one shipment. "Hutton has an extensive wireless product portfolio and BridgeWave was an obvious addition to complement our broadband product mix. Hutton is now able to provide the best 60 GHz solution at the most competitive price," explained Dean Basye, Hutton's Vice President of U.S. Sales. Hutton and BridgeWave are joining efforts to provide Technical Certification Training and promotions to assist VARs in installing, supporting and selling the BridgeWave products.
