Winncom will offer BridgeWave Gigabit Wireless products in U.S. and Eastern Europe
Santa Clara, CA - November 30, 2004 - BridgeWave Communications, the technology leader in upper millimeter-wave wireless communications, and Winncom Technologies, a subsidiary of ARC Wireless Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB: ARCS), a leading value-added distributor of wireless products, announced that Winncom Technologies will stock, market, provide engineering assistance and sell BridgeWave gigabit wireless products.
The GE60 is the first among a number of high-capacity, cost effective products that BridgeWave is developing. The GE60 is a 60 GHz license-exempt wireless link designed to interconnect nearby buildings at full-rate gigabit Ethernet speeds. "To expand the spectrum of our wireless products, we have selected BridgeWave's GE60, because of its full-rate gigabit wireless performance and aggressive price point," said Gregory E. Raskin, CEO of Winncom Technologies. "BridgeWave is enabling the adoption of gigabit wireless links by establishing a low list price of $19,000, which is just a small premium over 100Mbps offerings, yet offers an advanced digital processing implementation, including strong forward error correction and high link performance," Mr. Raskin added.
