Title: Software Development Engineer (NMS)
Position Summary: The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded SNMP, HTTP management agent in C/C++, and customizing a generic network management system to manage BridgeWave equipments using SNMP and HTTP protocols.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop NMS, including functional and detailed specifications, design, implementation, unit and system testing.
  • Development and customization of generic Web based management system to manage BridgeWave radios involves web server scripting and C/C++/Java/RDBMS programming
  • Radio configuration and monitoring with the combination of HTTP and SNMP
  • MIB and HTTP interface implementation on the
    device in C/C+
  • Testing and documentation of software as per requirements in a timely fashion
Required Knowledge, Skill and/or Abilities: Technical:
  • BS in CS with 3-5 years of software development experience
  • Knowledge of C/C++/Java and object oriented design methodologies
  • Experience working with server side WEB technologies HTTP/CGI/RDBMS and scripting
  • Experience working with web user interfaces HTML/JavaScript/CSS
  • Experience working with SNMP MIBs and concepts of NMS
  • Ability and willingness to work in a small team to meet aggressive goals, a flexible hands-on approach with an orientation towards quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education:
  • BS in CS
  • 3-5 years of experience developing software
